Always popular with critics and music lovers, Alexander Ghindin is recognized as one of the most talented and original pianists of today.

He was born in 1977 in Moscow. Even before graduating from the Conservatory, at the age of 17, he was the youngest winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He then won second prize in the 1999 International Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition in Brussels. These successes allowed him a quick entry into the world of the masters.

In 2001 he recorded with Ondine Records an original version of Sergei Rachmaninov's Piano Concertos No. 1 and No. 4 together with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy.
Since 2006, A. Ghindin is the artistic director of his own concerts in one of the recognized Russian halls such as Svetlanov Hall of Moscow International Music Center, where he presented unique programs to the public. In the same year he had a series of concerts with Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and performs in Suntory Hall. Alexander Ghindin is also one of the conductors of the International "Swedish Royal Festival" and the artistic director of the festival "Dedication to Knushevitsky" in Saratov, Russia.

In 2007, he received First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Cleveland, USA, and made an extraordinary tour of more than 50 US concerts. According to the critics, "it made a colossal impact on the audience, showing such a high level of mastery that these concerts are unforgettable" (Art and Life).
In 2001 he recorded with Ondine Records an original version of Sergei Rachmaninov's Piano Concertos No. 1 and No. 4 together with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy.

Alexander Ghindin is also on the road a lot now and again and again prepares for the audience real surprises and new musical discoveries, for which we are very grateful to him.
