The Swiss pianist Salome Scheidegger (*1987) started already at the age of 5 with playing piano. Since this young age a passion and challenge to revive classical music in a new way. Salome is first-prize winner of multiple international music competitions including the Concours Musical de France.

Laureate of the Swiss Charity Award 2016, born on June 24, 2002 in Stuttgart, comes from a family of musicians and began playing the violin at the age of five.

Despite his young age, Ilya Gringolts can already look back at 16 extremely successful years of his violin career.

Avi Avital was born in 1978 in the city of Be’er Sheva in southern Israel. With eight years he began to learn the mandolin and was soon a member of the youth mandolin orchestra, which was directed by the charismatic teacher Simcha Nathanson.

The trumpeter Giuliano Sommerhalder was a schoolboy when he won the second prize of the venerable International music competition of the ARD in Munich in 2003.

Erez Ofer was born in Israel and his first violin lessons he started with Prof. Ilona Feher, the teacher of such musicians as Pinchas Zukerman and Shlomo Mintz.
