Municipal House
One of the most outstanding examples of Art Nouveau architecture in Prague. Built at the beginning of the 20th century (1905–1912) to designs by architects Osvald Polívka and Antonín Balšánek, it became a symbol of Czech national revival and cultural independence.

Municipal House
Located opposite Republic Square, on the site of a 14th-century royal palace, its opulent interiors are adorned with works by leading Czech artists of the era, including Alfons Mucha, Max Švabinský, and others. The centerpiece of the building is the Smetana Hall – a majestic concert hall named after composer Bedřich Smetana and serving as the main venue for the Prague Spring International Music Festival.
