Ludwig van Beethoven | Symphony No. 9

The long-awaited event of the year - the most popular classical music masterpieces meet breathtaking video-tracked images, blending acoustic and visual worlds into an extraordinary event.

Experience New Year's Eve full of unforgettable impressions and magic on this spectacular show. A highlight of the end of the year in the Hallenstadion Zurich, the largest event location in Switzerland. When we attend a musical event, we expect an experience that becomes musically and visually dynamic. This kind of experience is hard to implement in a typical classical concert - unless there is not only live music, but also live images. A video track is a bit like a soundtrack for a silent movie - just the other way around. At the same time, music remains the undisputed protagonist of the concert, complemented by a new visual approach.

The video track is not a narrative, there is no story to follow. It is based on natural or lifelike elements, colors and textures that are synchronized with the musical composition. The stage is the interface that shows us the elements of the composition in a specific design. A certain conception of the pictures should avoid the overload of information. After all, it's still mostly about the music. The video track will be "live-controlled" during the concert by a professional musician and designer, who has created it according to an already written score and with methods of video mapping and lighting design.

The Warsaw Festival Orchestra and the choir will be conducted at the turn of the year by Michael Zukernik, principal conductor of the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Berlin, and Rimma Sushanskaya. Carmina Burana delights a diverse audience like no other classical music movement. It is one of the greatest challenges for singers and musicians and is designed by a multicolored composition of instruments, including all kinds of percussion and piano. Ludwig van Beethoven's masterpiece, the Ninth Symphony, has a far-reaching impact on the musical realm. It has inspired poets, writers and visual artists as well as initiating profound aesthetic and philosophical discussions and discussions.

With these classic masterpieces and fabulous projections, you can experience unusual audiovisual images and immerse yourself in the emotional atmosphere of musical works. Visit our unique program to see, hear and feel, and be mesmerized by our video track show.
